I had arranged to collect my new car and have the exciting reveal. My partner took time off work to drive me to the BMW dealership. After the reveal I was informed the car wasn't ready for me to drive it away. Not impressed.

I dropped one star as there was a problem with the GuardX application and the vehicle had to be returned for reapplication a couple of times. That was frustrating. However, the service was good despite this mishap

Very good experience with BMW. Adnan Yasin from the beginning gave all the details of the vehicle and go beyond and suggested lot of features to configure in the vehicle. Throughout the purchase he kept me informed and supportive of financial aspects

My experience was honestly the best I have experienced in 30 years. I was constantly kept up to date, nothing was to much trouble, queries were replied to promptly and Hamza even collected us from train station and handed over the car on his day off.

As above, I was told I'd be sent a report of the findings to take to the dealer I purchased car from but after 2 weeks of chasing still got nothing, the visit cost me almost £600 and no progress was made.

Was not informed my car was ready for collection after service. Had to call 3 times at 5pm before being told car was ready so had to rush to get to BMW before closing. Invoice was presented with higher price then given at point of booking. No apology

The day before the car was booked in for the diagnostic check I was telephoned to say there was a backlog with the diagnostic bookings and there were looking to delay the appointment. I stated this was not acceptable. The booking took place.

My service was a replacement of brake unit due to recall. I need to wait for 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. It would be better if your service center can stock up the parts, as it is known that there are lots of cars affected by the recall.

Reasonable price and an honest service. I had asked for front and rear brake pads to be replaced but received a call to say they didn't need doing. Not every company would do that I don't think.

I first submitted my car for service on Monday 30th September. The car was there for the week, and nothing was done: I picked up the car on the Friday and re-arranged for a time later in October. The service advisor kept me fully informed.

X1 went for one day oil service which had to be rescheduled because call centre gave me the wrong date. They had my car for 20 days because they did not know how to carry out a recall on my vehicle. Communication was poor. Calls promised but not met

Warranty repair was delayed by several months due to staffing issues. Two repair attempts were needed, but I was given a courtesy car for the entire time the car was with BMW Reading. Very good and regular comms with Lewis.

My car was booked to have an MOT, but the bill was twice as much! No one advised that brake fluid was to be replaced. No one requested authorisation. Additionally, I was sent an email to make payment online, it looked like an online scam email.

They don't respond to emails, they don't answer the phone. The actual work is excellent, but when they take 10 days to respond to an email asking how to book in for repair under warranty, they don't answer the phone and don't call back it impacts

I was allocated a personal service manager in Amelia (known as Millie/Milly) who gave me a thorough briefing and said she would telephone around 3 p.m. to give me an update. The call arrived at...3 p.m. This is instantly reassuring.

When I booked the service over the phone, there were no courtesy cars available so I mentioned I'd be waiting, this was not noted down however, they were able to reduce my waiting time by around half a day which is appreciated

Service advisor, Zaheer, advised me to not pay £150 for the cruise control issue investigation, which we agreed, and then he went ahead and did it anyway. Also left voicemail for him to phone me back once I had received the car, and never did.

I received a call at 5:20pm the night before telling me the loan car wouldn't be available until 10am. I said no We were dropping off the car early to get to our places of work. Car was made available at 830 but dirty and barely no fuel.

Warranty fault was misdiagnosed as customer damage. I had to wait 6 months from getting approval with Inchcape to getting the repair done. The repair took 6 days not the expected 3. I had to change courtesy car because it was sold.

For some reason you can't book a service with Inchcape Reading in the BMW app, which is annoying. Service was great can't fault it, Just not sure why I am dropping the car off at 8am only for it to be done after 4pm in the afternoon, not helpful.

All was well except I got a tyre puncture warning as I was driving home after new rear tyres had been fitted. Having observed the tyres over several days there does not appear to be any deflation. Just means I have to go back to get it sorted.

I don't like the new self check in process. I find it very impersonal. I'd rather speak with someone. Also, communication wasn't great. I had to chase up if my car was complete at 4.30pm as heard nothing from bmw. Then told I had to collect in 1hr.

Overall the service was fairly seamless however I never received the usual vehicle check video. I'm not sure if this was carried out? I also think it's unreasonable to charge for extras such as updating the system to register my service.

The main reason for the booking was to remedy a vibration (this was the second booking @ Reading for this ongoing issue) the vibration was resolved by the time & effort spent by Adam Jones resulting in diagnosing a faulty steering wheel air bag unit.

Good, but lucky in that I get a cancellation, so there's a suspicion that the service department is under-resourced. Also I had to leave it in rather than being able to wait, so that involved two car jouneys for two people - less than ideal.
